‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that family and friends can detect when something is off. They also know when a person relapses after maintaining sobriety.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was spinning out of control. But thankfully, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) happened to see Nikki staggering inside the Genoa City Athletic Club.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) knows his wife better than anyone. So, Lauren’s call to him was quickly exposed as a cover.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Jordan Howard Violated Many People
As Nikki said, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) is an evil woman. She used Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) daughter as part of an incredible quarter-century-long revenge plan.
Targeting Nikki through Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) was diabolical. Both ladies combined to feed Nikki liquor through a tube against her will.
Violating Nikki’s sobriety is a heinous act that should earn Jordan a lifetime jail sentence. But this is daytime. So, viewers will accept that outcome when it happens.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Claire Grace Avenges Her Family
Claire is in a bad head space. She persuaded her parents to facilitate a needed meeting with Zenk’s character. That takes place at the jail in Oregon where the authorities are attempting to hold Jordan. Nikki understandably fears she could escape as Claire’s kidnapper recently eluded the authorities and then descended on GC.
Meeting great-aunt Jordan is something Claire feels has to happen. While taking a defensive position with her reclaimed family, Erin’s character establishes a pathway to bonding.
Her heart will be able to open if she can shut the door to a revealed, horrible past. Confronting Jordan in a way that ends that part of her life will provide the start of a lasting resolution.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Audra Charles Wants A Good Life
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was helped by Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He paid for her schooling and provided a high-level corporate job. But she had to pay with her dignity and by being tied to a narcissist.
Audra gained an opening after having shrugged off Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and telling Tucker she was also done with him. If her will holds, she can pursue a life not tied to game-playing.
Whether Audra chooses to remain unattached romantically should prove vital. She appears to need a break so clarity can be gained on Y&R.
