‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to protect his secret to the end regarding Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), other members of his family may be struggling with keeping a clean conscious.

While Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) unintentionally killed Ashland with a punch, he and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have now been thrust into the middle of an investigation because their father thought he could control everything and face no consequences. Of course, with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and so many others on his trial, Victor could be facing a tough battle.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) Guilty Conscious, Will He Come Clean?

Nick’s guilty conscious is going to continue growing and it would be poetic justice if the person who ended up taking down Victor Newman was his own son who never wanted anything to do with Newman Enterprises anyways. If he did come clean though, this would put him ahead of even his brother, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on his father’s black sheep list.

I think Nick is going to say something to someone, and even if he wants to keep it a secret, he just has to get the truth out. That person will end up telling everyone else, and it will spread like wildfire. While Nick does not want to be the one responsible for spreading the news, he may do so unintentionally, but he’ll feel much better for it.

This could be another great bonding moment between Adam and Nick, and they could work together to tell the truth about what happened and how Nick accidentally killed Ashland. We all know that Victor will try to control this situation even further though, and it could mean throwing his sons under the bus to maintain his freedom.

What do you think? Will Nick break the news about what actually happened to clean his conscious? Let us know in the comments below.
