‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that there’s one thing that puts me to sleep faster than Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) current family storyline, and that’s Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway). I don’t know where to begin with this, the shoddy acting, the mistreatment of Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) character, or the weird story altogether.
So, we haven’t seen Abby leave the house since, I don’t even remember when. She’s been cooped up with Nina forever and all she does is worry about Chance (who we will probably never hear from again), and take fake phone calls which are the cringiest things I’ve ever witnessed.

Now she’s learning to cross-stitch to “help keep her mind off Chance”. I know, it’s thrilling, thrilling stuff. Meanwhile, she’s also been hovering over Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) during the pregnancy and the worst part is she’ll probably end up being a single mom because they won’t bring back Donny Boaz.
The dumb thing is, fans love Boaz as Chance. Ever since he’s left on nearly every social media post from Y&R there are people asking for him to come back.
We haven’t seen any updates about the baby recently, we still haven’t heard what they’re doing with Chance and nothing that’s happened to Abby recently is interesting. It feels like they have 6 minutes in each episode to fill and they don’t know what to do with it, so they have Abby and Nina randomly doing something while talking about nothing. It’s enthralling stuff.
