The episode for Monday, September 15 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as we’ll get some more of the usual subterfuge.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, September 15: Phyllis Demands Michael Come Clean; Cane Plans to Run Things While Billy Takes the Blame
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will follow orders for now and try to mend fences with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
He wants to make up anyway, but now he has more incentive. But Phyllis will have a caveat Michael won’t be prepared for.
She’ll demand he come clean with her about everything or she’ll tell Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) he’s not trustworthy.
This should be an interesting exchange.
Speaking of Cane, he’ll update Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about his plans and how he’s going full ahead.
When she questions him about trusting Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) with the AI, Cane will admit he’ll be in control.
Billy will think he is, and that way Cane’s hands will be clean and Billy will take the fall if there is one.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers love how Phyllis yearns for information so she can use it. Michael knows this, and he’ll be in a tough spot on what to tell her.
She knows him well enough to tell when he’s lying, so if he doesn’t tell her he’s spying for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she could make things complicated.
Of course, there’s also a chance that Cane expected that and intends to feed Michael false information. After all, Amanda is still his lawyer and the one who knows his plans.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, September 15: Will Amanda betray Billy?
We love how Amanda is Cane’s true lawyer and knows his plans, but knowing he intends to use Billy and let him take a potential fall makes us wonder if she’ll stay the course.
She’s had a complicated relationship with Billy, but they were friends and we don’t think there’s that big a chasm between them.
Still, she knows Billy and how he’ll take a gamble, so there’s a chance she’ll feel he can take care of himself.
This will be interesting to see how it all plays out. There are a lot of moving pieces in play, and it’ll be interesting to see if Cane is smarter than he used to be and can manage it.
