‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to kick off a new week with some spoilery goodies.

Monday, October 14 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as there’s going to be some growth and sinking into holes of manipulation.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is going to make plans to get back Chancellor. To do that, she’ll call Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and play the victim.

She’ll happily list what Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is doing wrong while neglecting what she’s done, so Jill will side with her.

Speaking of Billy, he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will continue to bond. They’ll try to work through their pain.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, October 14: Lily makes her move

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers were hoping for Lily to start shaking free of her need to prove herself. But it looks like that’s not going to happen.

Instead, she’s going to call Jill to lay out everything Billy has done to get Jill on her side.

Of course, we doubt she’ll tell Jill how she tried to get rid of Billy, or working with Victor to steal the company.

Lily will get Jill on her side for now, but when Jill learns about Lily’s duplicitousness, we doubt it’ll end well for her.

Maybe that’s what she needs to break free of her current freefall?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, October 14: Moving on

Billy will continue to struggle following his breakup with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). Sally will be there to help him get through it and they’ll bond over their pain and loss.

While she encourages him, they’ll get to talking about how he got a new place so it’s a fresh start. He’ll ask her for decorating tips and she’ll be happy to help.

We don’t think this is a doorway into something bigger between them, but it’s good to see them growing as friends.

It gives them balance, and that’s something Billy really needs right now with so many turning on him. His past dictates what others expect from him, and it’s not good.

Add in that he’s going to war with Victor while everyone’s turning on him and balance is more important than ever.

We think he needs people like Sally and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on his side. Jill won’t agree, but given how things were going he didn’t have much of a choice.

Will Lily get what she wants this time or will this scheme fall flat? Let us know in the comments below.
