‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to get a new week started in style.
Monday, September 23 looks like it’s going to be a fun episode and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to share.
Dealing with complex relationships are standard, but they’re going to be amped up in this episode. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will struggle to move on, showing how much they still care for each other.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be caught in the middle and his frustration will bubble over when Billy pushes him.
As for Billy and his war with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll turn down Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s offer to buy him out.
She did a quick turnaround from thinking Billy might surprise her father to expecting him to lose. Not the confidence boost he needed, but it’ll make him fight all the harder.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, September 23: It’s too complicated
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers love when there’s a good dust up. So when Billy confronts Adam it’s little surprise a punch is thrown.
In this case, Billy will demand to know what Adam said to upset Chelsea and Adam will pop him. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be the voice of reason and calm Billy down.
Yeah, we didn’t see that coming.
It’ll highlight how much Billy still cares about Chelsea, which Phyllis will undoubtedly point out.
As for Chelsea, we expect she’ll be as distraught and won’t have time for Adam. Not if he’s going to try to mend their relationship again.
There’s a chance Billy will have a change of heart and forgive Chelsea, and that will be a huge step in growth for him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, September 23: On his own
Given how everyone’s been betraying Billy in one way or another, we don’t blame him for being wary of Victoria. Especially since her approach is easy to see as a feint by Victor.
Billy is intent on making things work this time to prove to himself and everyone he can do it. So he won’t leave Abbott Chancellor without a fight.
As for Victoria, it was only a few episodes ago where she was sure Billy could make Victor regret coming after him.
Now, she doesn’t want their children to see Victor publicly humiliate him.
Something doesn’t add up. So either she was trying to bluff her parents or she did an about face.
If it’s the latter, it’s a convenient way for the writers to keep her from upsetting Victor. His children should’ve broken away from him a while ago, but no such luck.
Will Billy and Chelsea get back together? Let us know in the comments below.
