The episode for Monday, May 19 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as one character looks for help and we may be saying goodbye to another.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, May 19: Phyllis Calls Nick for Help After Amanda Tells her Dumas Won’t Help; Jill’s Dying! Amanda Urges Billy to Reach out to Jill Before it’s Too Late!
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is struggling and lying through her teeth while seeking help. Thankfully for her, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be there to offer her funding for her new company.
She didn’t want to borrow from Nick again and tried Dumas, but when Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) told her Dumas won’t help she’ll turn to Nick.
It looks like Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) won’t be around much longer.
We had the feeling when she was first ill, but now that Amanda will encourage Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to make peace with her is telling.
The fact Amanda will urge him to do so while he can speaks volumes.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, May 19: Phyllis’ breaking point
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious how this will work out for Phyllis.
She’s been trying to save face for why she and Billy split, and she’s holding onto the belief Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) wants to work with her.
Since that’s the main red flag for why Billy fired her, it’s important. Especially for Nick before he hands over a bunch of money.
Sure, he’s not worried about his funds as a Newman, but he’s not even trying to get the full story. This has disaster written all over it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, May 19: Jill’s dying
If there’s one thing to take from Amanda and Billy’s conversation, it’ll be that Jill is dying. It’ll be a point Amanda tries to get through to Billy, but he’s still too hurt to hear it.
He’s still in the hurt mindset of Jill cutting him off at the knees and it could take some more time to heal.
Like Phyllis, Billy needs to heal. They’re just two of several that need time to take care of themselves but aren’t.
We have a feeling Billy won’t be able to smooth things over with Jill before she passes, and that will further destroy him.
It’ll be a good storyline, but it’ll me morphed into a victory for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and that won’t be pleasant.
Hopefully, the writers will give Billy and Jill that moment so they can find peace.
