‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to get things rolling for a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Monday, August 25 is going to be an interesting one as things will return to normal in Genoa City.
Or could that be a ruse from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)?
We wonder as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have documents showing Cane’s fortune is built off his father’s final con.
Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) earned the money Cane used by conning an old woman into leaving him (possibly as her husband) her money in her will.
Victor will threaten to make it all public knowledge knowing no one will believe Cane knew nothing about it. To avoid that, Cane will agree to help him destroy Jabot.
Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s ability to see a con coming will serve him well.
He’ll have a PI following Cane so he knows what’s coming first, and chances are he’ll learn something from this.
While he’s working to stop Victor and Cane, he’ll also support Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and give her a hue boost of confidence before her launch of Abbott Communications.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Victor would find something that’s supposed to be hidden.
It’s what he does no matter how careful or innocent his opposition is. He always wins.
Keeping with the copy and paste method for Victor’s wins, he’ll use the information of Colin’s final con to blackmail Cane into helping him.
Victor will be sure of himself, but what if Cane planted that information for him to find?
It’s a stretch and the show isn’t usually that imaginative, but it’d prove Cane is a legitimate threat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, August 25: Billy’s on the job
Billy shines brighter when everyone doubts him.
He’s going to have a PI following Cane so he can find out what’s happening first. Sally will wonder if it’s safe, and because of that we won’t be surprise if Victor sniffs out the PI.
Or maybe Cane will because he’ll join Victor with being omniscient?
It’ll be interesting so see how this will play out, but Billy will shift his attention to supporting Sally.
She’ll be nervous about launching Abbott Communications, but Billy will have all the confidence in the world in her.
It’ll be the boost she needs, and it could launch the next super couple if the writers don’t sabotage them for Victor.
