The Young and the Restless spoilers update for Monday, April 22 find Devon (Bryton James) moving on from his past. Also, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will catch Kyle (Michael Mealor) cheating on Summer (Hunter King) with Lola (Sasha Calle). Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will give Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) an ultimatum.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, April 22 Update: Nick Catches Kyle In the Act, Summer Wants Annulment From Cheating Husband!
It all begins at The Society, where Abby (Melissa Ordway) is panicking because no customers have showed up to her grand opening. However, she received a bouquet from Victor (Eric Braeden) before Devon arrives. He tells her to calm down as he’s sure guests will arrive. Also, Lola tells Summer that it’s bad luck to give a knife as a gift unless it comes with a coin. Summer digs into her pockets and finds a quarter and gives it to her. Abby then checks on the door and is thrilled to see that customers are finally lining up. All of her hard work was worth it. Nick arrives and poses for a photo, and is followed by Jack (Peter Bergman). Summer, meanwhile, is trying to draw Kyle’s attention away from Lola, who is also one of the stars of the grand opening.
Outside of The Society, Mia insists that she’s on the guest list, but the doorman refuses to let her in. Rey arrives and joins his brother Arturo (Jason Canela) inside the restaurant.
At the penthouse, Ana (Lorna Lott) tells Jet (Gilbert Glenn Brown) that he should sing his best songs tonight. He’s feeling nervous ahead of his performance. He then tells his daughter that she is his biggest inspiration. Devon then comes in and tells them both to “break a leg.” Devon then looks at an old photo of him and his wife Hilary and for the first time, removes his wedding ring.
At Society, Jack can’t believe that the Jabot receptionist is promoting Jack of Hearts. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) appears out of nowhere and tells Jack that the receptionist works for her now. Abby and Devon then take the stage to introduce the entertainment for the night. Arturo can’t believe his eyes when he sees how beautiful Abby looks. Abby and Devon then give Jack and Ashley a warning about bringing merchandise to the grand opening of The Society. Devon even says that he will get his lawyers involved.
Mia finally manages to sneak in and joins Jack at the bar. She brings him up to speed about all of her problems and mentions that she is soon going to be single. She also tells Jack that Rey betrayed her. Elsewhere, Kyle can’t stand being away from Lola and gives her a big kiss. Nick witnesses it all go down and then grabs him and calls him a “lying punk.” Summer then tells her father to back off and reveals that she’s getting an annulment. However, Summer then tells Kyle that she still loves him and wants to work on their marriage.
