The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Michelle Stafford replacing Gina Tognoni as the new Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless has not only created a few waves in the industry, it’s created a rumble! According to CBS Soaps in Depth, a lot of people behind the scenes are just as stunned about the move as many daytime television fans so much so that they can’t stop talking about it! It has made Michelle’s transition to Genoa City particularly difficult, while leaving Gina utterly heartbroken. A lot of fans believe that she was unfairly let go from the show.

If that weren’t enough, it also seems as though Michelle Stafford is well aware of all the criticism she has been getting on social media. That’s probably the reason why she posted a photo of herself in a barely-there red bikini whole not only holding on her children in her arms, but she’s also wearing a pair of boxing gloves, too! Looking nothing less than amazing, Michelle captioned her post, “Ready for the week!! #singlemotherhood.”

And while she hasn’t said anything about the criticism, it’s safe to say that Michelle knows that her critics have a lot to say about her taking over for Gina Tognoni. A lot of people think that it’s still unfair how Gina was thrown under the bus just so Michelle could reprise a role that she had well over five years ago.
Thankfully, Michelle has her supporters and followers, too. A lot of people commented on her pic with, “Stunning! I’m going to miss you so much on GH, but I wish you the best on your return to Y&R. You captured my heart as Nina in Port Charles, which is a testament to YOU and your acting. Such a beautiful, talented, funny, intelligent and charming woman you are.
