‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to get things started with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like we’re going to get an interesting character building episode for Monday, April 14.
It makes sense for the aftermath of the Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) storyline. Characters move on, and that’s what Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will do.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, April 14: Traci Decides to Leave Genoa City with Ashley; Sharon and Phyllis Remain Frenemies as They Comfort Traci
We adore Traci and hoped this storyline would’ve been her happily ever after, but there’s always next time.
She’s going to leave Genoa City with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to heal her heart.
Before she leaves, she’ll apologize to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
This will also give Sharon and Phyllis a chance to continue to bond and get along, realizing Martin wanted to help them.
These will be some touching scenes and we’re looking forward to watching Traci in action until she returns.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious about the wounds that have healed and what it’ll mean going forward.
For that reason, Martin wanting to prove he was a better psychiatrist than his brother worked out.
His methods not so much, but it can be argued desperate times needed desperate measure with Phyllis and Sharon.
Now they’re getting along better than ever, but for all they went through Traci will apologize to them.
They’ll show how much they’ve grown by sticking together and not blaming Traci for bringing Martin into their lives.
It’ll be a good moment for them and Traci as she’ll feel a little lighter for her role and be able to further heal.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, April 14: Taking time off
Traci will look to move on, so she’ll tell Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman) she’s leaving with Ashley.
She’ll take some time to sort through her emotions by writing a new book, and then she’ll be back.
Writing is great therapy, and we’re sure her book will be a bestseller. We’d love for the show to have someone write her books under a Traci Abbott pen name. It’d be a cool addition.
Plus, it’d give us another reason to love Traci and get more of a glimpse into her.
While this isn’t a true farewell episode, it’ll feel like it and we’re already looking forward to seeing her return.
