‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the news is out. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) killed Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) with a pair of scissors in a motel room.
No, this isn’t a ghetto game of ‘Clue’, but just what happened on the show much to everyone’s shock.
While Phyllis did do this in self-defense as Stark was coming at her, she cannot go to the police because, well, she is supposed to be dead. She faked her death in an attempt to get Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) accused of the crime and locked up.
All seemed to be going to plan until this happened. Now it looks like Phyllis may need to make up something about Stark to play this whole thing off.
“SPOILER ALERT!!!!” Ok, just so folks don’t get mad. Hey @jameshydeofficial thank you for being SUCH A JOY to work with!! We ALL love you! Thank you for being such a positive spirit on set and a great scene partner. I’m sorry the marriage was short lived and I’m sorry I stabbed you to death ✂️ Those scissors sure were sharp 🥴But… ya know, Jeremy can always have a twin brother. 😉 Go Kill it! 🖤 #YR“

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) GUSHES Over James Hyde (Jeremy Stark) On Instagram
With Stark out of the picture, that also means that James Hyde will no longer be on the show and it’s a bit of a bummer because he was built up to be quite the villain.
Of course, like every other Genoa City bad guy, he continually was written softer and softer until they were able to get rid of him.
This doesn’t mean that he didn’t leave an impression on the cast though, as Stafford took to Instagram with a photo of the two talking about how much she adored working with him and teased that he could always have a twin brother.
While it was just a joke, it actually wouldn’t be a bad way to get Hyde to come back to the show someday!
