‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) is celebrating World Adoption Day with her beautiful family as her daughter, Olivia, was adopted. Though you would never know, and while she isn’t of her flesh, she is still her daughter.
It’s a beautiful thing, and Ordway and her husband are shining examples for people looking to adopt. There are many children out there that are alone, and a warm, happy home is just what they need, regardless if they’re ‘physically’ yours.
Ordway took to Instagram to celebrate and posted the following caption,
“Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, But still miraculously my own. Never forget for a single minute, you didn’t grow under my heart but in it.” Happy #worldadoptionday 💕 Olivia, God made you for us. We love you more than words. @worldadoptionday #familyiseverything”
