‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) are celebrating her husband’s, Justin Gaston, birthday today and it looked like they had a fantastic time. In her Instagram stories, she describes how Justin was telling their girls a story about,
“A toy sword he had gotten for his bday when he was a little that broke and they insisted that for his birthday this year, we get him swords. So happy birthday, Justin. A day early.”
The video shows Justin swinging the swords around in the kitchen to background music of “Kung-Fu Fighting”. It was the perfect occasion for the song.

Afterward, they went to get coffee where he also broke out in dance right outside the coffee shop. It’s fun to see them having fun and it keeps us grounded and realize that Abby Newman is not the real person, and in fact, Ordway looks like a ton of fun outside of the show.
Yes, a little dig at her character but something needs to change soon as many viewers are growing tired of her whiny ways and constantly making everything about her.
Maybe make the character a bit more like Ordway. Fun, quirky, and lets her husband have swords inside the house!
Happy birthday to Justin Gaston and hopefully we can see him return to the show sometime soon. If Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) won’t be returning, let Gaston take on a role and be with his wife!
