‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) still has a lot more to do before leaving for maternity leave. After today’s episode where she was going to the “psych facility,” a lot of fans assumed that she would be done while she was on maternity leave.
However, it turns out she’s got a lot more story to tell and we’ll be “stuck with her a while longer”. On Instagram, she shared how thankful she was for all the love she got for today’s episode and noted that she would still be on for a bit longer. She wrote the following on her Instagram story,
“Thanks so much for all the love today’s episode! Chelsea’s such a fun character, and I’m so grateful I get to play her! Also! Despite the story, I’m not leaving for maternity leave for a while! Much more story to tell. You’re stuck with me a while longer.”

Meanwhile, on the outside, we’ll see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) battle with his internal struggles while sitting across from his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), while also being visited by people like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Will we see Chelsea show up in his internal battle?
