‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close the week out in style, and there’s going to be plenty of fun twists to take us into next week.
Nothing ever lasts forever, especially secrets as they have a way of coming out.
But it’s not all doom and gloom in this episode, so let’s dive into some spoilers and see what’s coming!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 12: The right thing to do
It was only a matter of time before someone’s conscience got the better of them, and while Summer Newman (Alison Lanier)’s is pushing her deeper down into the hole her mother dug, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will do what he can to help alleviate it.
With that being said, Summer may never forgive him for telling Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive, but at least it’s less weight she has to carry around.
This doesn’t mean there won’t be a long road ahead for her as she’ll feel her world’s falling apart, and that’s going to be the moral quandary Daniel will have to deal with.
On top of that, him coming clean will ensure everyone will be looking for Phyllis, assuming anyone believes him.
‘Young and the Restless’ think Summer would normally deny it, but with how fragile she’s become she will probably break down and accuse him of betraying her and their mother.
Doing the right thing always seems to come with a price.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 12: Insider information
Thanks to Daniel coming clean, Jack will share the news with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), who will then take it to the judge to have Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) released.
We doubt it’ll be the easy since they won’t have anything more to go on that the word of a heartbroken son, but Diane will probably be granted some kind of leeway in this.
It could even begin the healing process for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to see the kind of path she is on and it could give her the incentive to extend an olive branch to Jack.
And since he won’t be under constant threat of attack from her, he may in turn be more reasonable in her choices while still being wary of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Of course, we could be wrong and nothing will change with Ashley or Jack, but there’s always hope a family will find their way through times like these.
Will Diane be released from the charge of murder? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
