‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers love how one of the fun things about soaps is every now and then we get a dream scenario, and in this case Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) lives the dream of every child of a broken home — her parents are back together.

It’s taken some effort on Lucy’s part, but her plan worked and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) are getting back together.

Everything is coming up roses for Lucy and her family, but as always we expect an issue to two to crop up before too long.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Pieces coming together

It seemed like a long shot early on as Lucy tried everything she could to get her parents to spend time together, but eventually things started to click and they’re back to being in love with each other.

Or on the road to that, and the familiarity they have with each other is a big reason why.

Still, it could have more to do with Daniel not able to make up his mind or settle down with anyone for long on camera, and that’s a trait that obviously runs in the family.

Of course, we can’t look past Lucy’s ability to find ways to bring her parents together in situations that would remind them of what they once had, and all she has to do in wait for Daniel to tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – What could go wrong?

If this was any other show, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers would expect a revenge plot of some sort or at least a very difficult moment between Daniel and Lily when he tells her he’s dumping her for his ex.

Instead of a fun stumbling block or maybe even a love triangle, we think Lily will take it in stride for the most part with some shouting and tears.

'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) Spills The Beans, Daniel Romalotti Jr.'s (Michael Damian) Secret Is Out?

Instead of ranting at Daneil betraying her as she has every right to, Lily will probably say she was expecting it and despite the bad timing it’s for the best.

While her reaction will be lackluster, there is potential for her to have some problems following this like a lack of confidence, feeling lost, or even substance abuse.

Though to be fair and given the show’s track record, we think it’s more likely she’ll be grumpy and lash out every now and then while relying on Devon Winters (Bryton James)’s shoulder to cry on.

Maybe even Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and that could open up the possibility of their relationship rekindling.

How do you think Lily will handle the news? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
