‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) feels rather unsettled. Recent events have made her wonder whether or not she can fully trust her staff.
She needs to know more. To do so, she subjects Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to some questioning. Can he satisfy her with what she needs to know about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Suspicions Raised
When Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) came to ask Victoria to consider a merger between Newman Media and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) new company, she was really surprised. They had briefly touched on it before and he knew that neither she, nor Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was interested.
What was even more perplexing to her was the news that Audra Charles approached her mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) and pitched the same idea. To her that suggests some kind of collusion and makes her suspicious. She doesn’t believe that it is all about Nate wanting what is best for Newman Media.
Nate never admits it, but the lid is blown off when Audra comes and dumps it all on Victor and Nikki. She was being blackmailed by Adam. To get him off her back, she had to get them to agree to a merger.
When Victoria finds this out, she confronts Nate, who admits that he made a mistake. He should have told her about it immediately and not tried to influence her. He promises to never do it again, but she’s not sure she can believe him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Digging Deeper
Victoria meets with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to try to get all the information she can about Audra. Kyle is now the COO of Newman Media, since Audra hired him. He has also been sleeping with Audra. Victoria wants to get a sense of what may be happening between Audra and Nate.
Victoria also wants to know more about Audra so she can determine if it is worth keeping her around. If Victor and Victoria do decide to merge Adam’s new company with Newman Media, essentially taking his company over, Audra might become redundant.
Is it going to be worth it to keep her around or should she be given the sack? What do you think Victoria will decide about Audra?
