‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) doesn’t really care if anyone knows about his new trajectory. He has left Marchetti and is considering taking on a position at Newman Media.
He has asked Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) to move out and is currently having a fling with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). He isn’t too concerned about who finds out these things. What impact will that have?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoiler: Impact on Audra Charles
Y&R’s Audra Charles just secured a new role for herself. She is currently the acting CEO of Newman Media. This occurred when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) told her brother he had to take a leave of absence.
With Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) exit from Newman Enterprises, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as able to take his place. This left an opening for Audra at Newman Media.
She hasn’t been at the job very long, but already has a lot of challenges coming her way. She needs to keep Newman Media on an upward trajectory but then she also has to manage the threat of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Adam has control of McCall Unlimited and is ready to take on Newman Media. His hope is that he can take over her company.
Audra’s hands are full, and she needs to prove herself as capable. This romance with Kyle Abbott is a little unexpected for her and while it can be a nice diversion, she can’t afford to be distracted either. While Kyle doesn’t care who finds out about them, Audra feels more concerned.
She wants to keep her personal life private, and she doesn’t want everyone to know what she is up to. The Newmans may also be quite upset that she offered a leadership position to Kyle, for the Newmans and Abbotts aren’t exactly good friends. All this may prove disastrous for Audra.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoiler: Impact on Summer Newman
Y&R’s Summer Newman got a room at the Athletic Club when Kyle asked her to move out. Ironically, Audra is staying there too. While Audra comments on the danger of this, Kyle isn’t bothered. He doesn’t really care who sees them together.
When Summer comes in, she sees Kyle and Audra flirting with each other at the bar. Although they aren’t doing anything inappropriate, she can see that they are close, and something is going on.
It won’t take her long to remember the floral bouquet and the jewelry that Audra received this week. It was from the same jeweler that Kyle used when getting gifts for Summer.
While Summer loves Kyle and doesn’t want her marriage to be over, she also doesn’t seem to be the type who will grovel. As soon as Summer fully connects the dots, she may decide to seek her own happiness.
Maybe she’ll connect with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) who is a “friend” but one who could help her a lot when her mother comes back to town. Or Summer may take off to Italy for a while as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) suggested.
