‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could be in peril. In addition to standing up for his mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), he did so by visiting Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in his hotel room!
Since we all know what Jeremy is capable of and how he is a convicted felon, many fans are quite concerned about Kyle and his son, young Harrison Abbott. Although we had a nasty sense that something bad would occur, we never envisioned Kyle facing him head-on.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) A Grown Up? Confronts Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) Alone!
On the other hand, Kyle might be at a turning point in this situation where he takes the initiative and confronts danger head-on. We are used to Kyle being more submissive, so this is a little different, and we wonder if this represents a significant shift in his character.
Kyle usually seems to be the type to let things go naturally, and even with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), he did not seem to be this combative. Although there may be many hazards involved and the supporters don’t appear to trust him, this may be a significant change for the young man.
While I generally have some faith in Kyle and enjoy watching people go through significant changes, it doesn’t seem like the majority of viewers share my opinions. I may be mistaken, which I surely am, but I believe that Kyle’s solo stand against Stark in defense of his mother would be a creative reworking of the character. His, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been a strong man and has also been defending Diane, but Kyle has never really stepped out from his father’s shadow and taken on the world alone. You may say, but he went to Italy with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier)! Please, with a perfect job and you know what? He was right back next to his dad within a few months!
