‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that everyone seems to be torn apart by the idea of Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) would have turned into a bad guy and kidnapped Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) while she was pregnant. This would easily destroy the character.

Ben came back onto the show right around the time Mariah disappeared and was an easy person for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to fall into for reassurance. However, with everything seemingly turning on Ben and his stories not adding up, is he really responsible for kidnapping Mariah or could this be a diversion?

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Just A Diversion? – Is Ben Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) Innocent?

Some viewers don’t believe that Ben would do this and that he’s a fall guy for someone else. Fans wrote, “Why. are you doing is to Abby??? You was a good guy what happened to you?”, “I hope they’re trying to throw us off the track. Wouldn’t it be something if Tessa Porter Arranged this. That way we could get a new Love interest For Mariah”, “I think he’s going to end up innocent because if not, it’s a terrible storyline because he’s so obvious!”, “You bring him back to be bad WHY”, “Oh I really hope he’s innocent I was glad that they brought him back” and “I was believing he took Mariah till she went into labor & is doing nothing, not helping or sending help, would a doctor do that?”

Between his store story, losing his job in Iowa City and them finding Mariah’s phone in his hotel room, what chances are there he’s innocent? Do you think he could be being set up?

What do you think? Are you a fan of Ben’s character and do you think he’s guilty or is he being set up? Let us know in the comments below.
