‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with a fun character building episode and plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be a fun episode as decisions and dealing with said decisions will be dealt with, and it should be fun to see what seeds are planted for the future.
Let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 21: Wanting her pound of flesh
Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) is lost in a world of guilt, pain, and excuses and she’s going to be looking for someone she can lay it all on.
Lucky for her, she’ll find Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) relaxing and confront her about sleeping with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Things will devolve quickly as Summer will try to be snippy and hurt Audra, but we don’t think any of her barbs will have any effect.
Of course, it’s not like she’s putting a lot of thought into this, but she’ll definitely be struggling to understand how Kyle could leave her and put the blame on Audra, just like she’s putting her mother’s psychosis soley on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for returning.
In the end, this isn’t going to do her any favors and ‘Young and the Restless’ expect things to fall apart for her even more so in the near future.
It’s just a question on if the writers will let her and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) crash and burn if they don’t get help and then rebuild themselves or give them an easy out like has been teased some.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 21: Victor gets his way
In a surprise to no one, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get his way when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) convince Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into joining their merger venture.
There will be some contentious parts, such as Adam wanting autonomy like he was supposed to have from the beginning, and then the redundancy of similar divisions between their company and Newman Media.
They’ll single out Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra as needing to be replaced since they’re outsider, but Victor will refuse and put all his faith in them and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) since she rarely disappoints him.
As for autonomy, since he got his way we expect Victor to agree to give them some time to have full control to see if they’ll sink the ship or go on the attack like Adam would like.
How long with this forced partnership last? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
