‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that getting caught was never part of the plan. So, after hiding inside the walls at the lake house in Redmond, Oregon, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) brazenly came to Genoa City, Wisconsin.
After baiting the authorities and causing the Newman family to be distracted, Jordan held Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) hostage for a second time. Zenk’s character also kidnapped her niece, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

Only those who are paid to abuse the legal system would claim that Jordan should be anything other than incarcerated. Any so-called diversion program, which could be theoretically, rather than provably, effective in select instances, does not apply to this unquestionable villain.
Jordan abducted the child of her supposedly beloved sister’s son and his wife. Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and the now-Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) were told their daughter, Eve Nicole, died at birth. But that was a lie the criminal coward Jordan pushed for a quarter-century.
Cuffing Jordan and then locking her behind bars is the only just punishment. She deserves no consideration for parole. Only a lout attorney would claim otherwise in exchange for a money transfer to said villain’s account.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Claire Grace Is The Greatest Witness
When faced with the reveal regarding her abduction after birth, Claire recoiled. Her parents both noted her reaction and knew at that moment why their daughter was brainwashed to despise them.
But Claire was also convinced to become involved in an elaborate scheme where Cole, Victoria, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) were poisoned. The intent was to end their lives and apparently allow Nikki to witness their demise.
Claire responded by providing the antidote and, later, after Jordan lured Nikki to the cabin, by protecting her grandmother. An insightful judge could order Erin’s character to receive needed psychiatric care and grant her conditional freedom based on testimony against Jordan.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Cole Howard And Newman Family Can’t Allow Escape
The woman who psychologically abused Claire since she was born also wanted to kill her family members. Jordan’s psychopathic behavior is reinforced through her momentarily lamenting Cole having to be one of the poison victims.
Peck’s character is the late Eve Howard’s (Margaret Mason) son. Jordan’s inclusion of him in her diabolical plot underscores the need for no legal escape hatch to be left open.
Jordan says she did everything to avenge her sister’s death, which is blamed on Victor. Braeden’s character had nothing to do with Eve’s end and was, in fact, her target for years. Eve lied about him being Cole’s father, as devoted fans know.
So, the audience impatiently waits to see if Jordan is convicted and is written off to a permanent jail sentence. Alternatively, she might escape justice and keep this drama indefinitely open on Y&R.
