‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that for some father-son time, Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) will be taken to the park by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). After all the turmoil with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), Harrison and Kyle will have some time to unwind together.
It just so happens that Claire Grace (Haley Erin) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will arrive in the park at the same moment. Harrison will undoubtedly come up to Claire for a hug and a conversation very quickly.
Kyle won’t see the danger in allowing Harrison to see Claire, even though Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will make it obvious that she doesn’t want Harrison near her, especially because it appears that this meeting will be entirely accidental.
It’s not as though Kyle will yank Harrison aside and demand that he give Claire the silent treatment! Just because Summer has problems with her cousin doesn’t mean that she needs to be impolite or make this into another unpleasant event.
Put another way, Kyle will merely let Harrison spend this time with Claire and will disregard Summer’s earlier advice to keep Claire at a distance.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: It’s Time For Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) To Move On, She’s Not Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) Step-Mom Anymore
Given that Harrison and Claire had a similar Jordan-like situation, Kyle may get another chance to witness firsthand how wonderful Claire is with kids. Summer may worry that Claire will serve as a constant reminder of Harrison’s ordeal, but Kyle will believe Claire has the potential to be a shining example of recovery.
Kyle could be even more certain of it after seeing Claire and Harrison’s subsequent exchange. But, Summer could show up and see Claire interacting with Harrison, or perhaps Harrison will just tell Mommy all about his experience with Claire later on.
Summer will not be pleased that Kyle permitted this visit between Claire and Harrison behind her back. Since it wasn’t anything he intended, Kyle may explain himself by claiming that Harrison benefited from it nevertheless.
