‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that even though Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) is alive, things have taken a left turn. While Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has flown all the way to Spain to find him, there’s one big issue. Chance doesn’t want to, or can’t leave.
Rumors suggest that he’ll change his mind and fly back, but what will this do to Dominic? It’s been a crapshoot since the beginning, and this storyline just keeps on dragging, but one thing is for sure. I don’t think Dominic is going to be the winner in all of this.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is This The Route We’re Going Down? – Baby Dominic Doesn’t Stand A Chance
The kid has a surrogate mother who is obsessed with him and wants to take him back. He has a biological donor as a father who has the baby blues and may even seek legal counsel from his girlfriend to gain some kind of custody, and in the middle of all of it, his mother is a complete emotional mess.
So, basically, everything we thought would happen, ended up happening. We knew months and months ago that Mariah and Devon wouldn’t be able to observe from a distance and would form some kind of attachment to the kid.
Now, if Chance doesn’t end up coming back, that will be an even bigger issue. He seems like the only one that could put all of this to rest, but, as he said, he has more work to do. He has to finish his mission. If Chance doesn’t make it back, it’s going to cause a whirlwind, and Mariah and Devon will see Dominic as missing something, and both rush to fill that spot.
