‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been a hot mess. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) just broke up with her because he knows that she still has feelings for his brother, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). He doesn’t want to be in a relationship where he’s not sure of the other person’s feelings.

Sally has been a mess since Adam kissed her. They went out to dinner together and shared a bottle of champagne while Nick was out of town. They talked and were celebrating their successes.
Adam has turned over a new leaf and is not working a menial job at Newman Enterprises to climb back up the ladder the normal way. He has decided not to fight with everyone anymore and is trying to be a better person.
Sally was celebrating her new business venture. She has had a difficult time getting her business off the ground. She started a company with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), but it basically fizzled out.
She was going to work at Newman Enterprises as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offered her a new design division there, but then he changed his find.
Finally, Nick offered to back Sally financially so that she could get her own design business of the ground. That is a win for Sally and things have been going well with that launch. Hence, she was celebrating.
But, when Adam walked her to her door after dinner, he kissed her. That kiss stirred up a lot of feelings in Sally. She is attracted to the “changed” version of Adam. The question is, has he really changed?

Sally is broken-hearted at Nick’s decision. Nick is a kind and caring man. She has always felt safe with him. But has she really been in love with him? That is the question she is asking herself.
Chloe weighs in, asking Sally to remember her journey with these brothers. She broke up with Adam for a reason. While he may be improving his life, it doesn’t mean that reason is now gone. Nick has been a stable and loving force in Sally’s life. She shouldn’t let that relationship go without a fight.
