‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) seem to have a plan to finally get even with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)! However, it will involve Phyllis taking some kind of fake poison that makes her appear dead.
Of course, she and Stark have set up Diane so it looks like she was the one who poisoned Phyllis! All of this is said to be going down at the 50th-anniversary gala and will surely make a huge bang, but there are a few concerns. Firstly, why is Phyllis so hell-bent on doing this to Diane, and is she seriously prepared to give up everything?

How and why would Phyllis give up everything she has to see Diane locked away behind bars? Surely if they fake her death she can’t come back to Genoa City or anywhere close, otherwise they would know.
So, she’s just going to give up seeing her daughter, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier)? What about little Harrison? Does she not care about watching him grow up?
The only thing we can figure is that Michelle Stafford is actually leaving the show, making it so after Phyllis fakes her death, she can run away with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and never return.
Apparently, this soaks up so much of her character that she is literally willing to die so long as it lands Diane in jail.
Seems like a bit of a strange plan, and only really makes sense if she is leaving the show, otherwise, they would just have her off-screen all the time doing nothing. If she is indeed leaving, it will be a sad day for Y&R fans…
