‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) came into Genoa City and made quite the splash when he did so. Everyone’s life has seemingly changed because of his actions and he’s made the show better.
Burgi’s performance has been great, and his character Ashland is turning into a very sympathetic person. He’s someone a lot of us can relate to and he’s kind of turning into the good guy while Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) continues to fall on everyone’s list.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Killing Off Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) A Mistake?
With his diagnosis that he only has six months to live, a lot of fans think it’s a mistake killing off the character and that he was making the show better. Fans commented, “Save Ashland Loche, make t shirts if you all have too!!”, “I agree!! So disappointed about today’s show that he has cancer! Save his character by a miracle!”, “Don’t write off Ashland! He’s starting to make the show interesting.”, “Please save Ashland Lock”, and “I hope Ashland doesn’t die.”
The fans obviously like Ashland and are continuing their campaign for the writers to keep him on the show. While it’s a nice sentiment, it will fall on deaf ears. The writers have their own thing going on and haven’t listened to fans in a while.
