‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) doesn’t have much left in Genoa City except for Jabot and that may not be enough of a reason to hang around. With his son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) moving to Italy with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and his son, Harrison Locke, could Jack be thinking about staying there after the wedding?
Jack recently admitted his love to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who was not as responsive and is currently with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Plus, there aren’t any women left in Genoa City for Jack, as he’s either made the rounds or the new ones moving in are too young… However, might he find new life in Italy?
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Going To Leave The Show This Year?
Jack has been a part of the show since 1989, and in that time has experienced and been through a lot, though it seems like his story could be coming to an end in Genoa City. He has no one to love, his parents have passed and he rarely even gets to see his siblings. With his son and grandson across the Atlantic Ocean, I feel as though he may find a reason to stay behind after the wedding.
Of course, that leaves the big question mark… What about Jabot? Jack is well into retirement age and he could easily hand it off to the next in line, or sell it to the highest bidder. There’s always the possibility he could just move it to Italy with him.
It may seem like a stretch at first, but in the end, what does Jack have left here, and at least in Italy he could be with his son and grandson, away from the cruel history of Genoa City and the love of his life he can’t be with.
