‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is driving everyone crazy. He keeps changing his mind and shifting people around in Newman Enterprises.
His latest shift has caused quite an uproar. While he is ready to take the reins again, will he listen to what Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) suggests?

Victor purchased McCall Unlimited from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He turned it over to his son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to run. Adam decided to merge his company with Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) company, Kirsten Incorporated.
Victor supported this merger and was interested to see if the three could work well together. They didn’t get much of a shot though. Adam set his sights on taking over Newman Media with his company and he tried to blackmail Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to do so.
When that failed, Adam strongly suggested a merger between their company SNA and Newman Media. Victor said he was not interested in a merger at all. Then he suddenly changed his mind and said that he was.

Victor kicked Adam to the curb. He was going to absorb SNA into Newman Media, but Sharon begged for her company back. Victor relented and gave it to her. Then he decided that Nikki would become CEO of Newman Media and Audra would be demoted to second in command.
Victor asked Nick to take Nikki’s place, keeping Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in his current position. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was disappointed because she wanted Nate running it all with her. When Nick turned it down and decided to go all in with Sharon at Kristen Incorporated, Victor dropped a bombshell on everyone.
Victor will be the new CEO of Newman Enterprises, leading the helm. Victoria will be demoted to second. Victoria is upset and hurt. She has been a fabulous leader, and she can’t understand why her father would do this to her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Taking a Trip
After hearing Victoria out and understanding how distressed she is, Nikki is suggesting to Victor that they take a vacation together. If they go away for a few weeks, it will give Victoria time to adjust to the news. It will also give them a break together before they start CEO jobs at their age.
