As we head into the post holiday weekend with the show not airing new episodes for two days, ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers have had time to think things over and read some fan theories, and there’s some interesting ones out there.
We’ve discussed the various possibilities on who Clair Grace (Hayley Erin) is and what her relationship is with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and there’s a new theory that explains why she’s after the whole family, and Cole Howard (j. Eddie Peck) could be the key.
If the fan theory is right, then we’re in for a fun treat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Eve’s return?
There’s a pretty cool theory that we’re seeing the return of one or two Eves from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s past and it has so much potential to be fun.
First up is Claire, who could be Victoria and Cole’s seemingly deceased daughter Eve.
Yep, since death isn’t permanent in the soap opera world, there’s a chance that baby Eve didn’t die and she was taken away and her death faked. This would explain Claire’s fixation on Nikki and her family in general.
The thought is that Clair was taken away and taken in in an effort to turn her against her family for the final act of revenge.
It sounds great and something straight out of the 1980s. ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers fully endorse this idea.
But who is Claire’s Great Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk)?

Since it’s possible Claire is baby Eve, there’s plenty of speculation that she was taken and raised to hate the Newmans by Eve Howard (Margaret Mason) ’s sister.
There’s every chance she is and is just as twisted as Eve was, and it seems like we were given a hint when on Thursday, November 23’s episode when we saw a 1993 episode with Eve.
This would give the show a must needed boost in excitement as they bring someone from the past back without having them ‘starting over’ and talking about it over coffee for a hundred episodes.
It’ll be fun to see the Newmans confronted by someone from their past, especially when it brings in a new character that doesn’t look as certain about what’s being done at the moment like Claire.
Of course, there’s a chance this is nothing more than fan speculation and we’ll be let down, but we’re hoping this is one storyline the writers don’t allow to fall flat.
