‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that there looked to be a budding romance between Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as they were spending a little bit of time together and seemed to have some chemistry going on.
However, it looks like that has been knocked to the side with the re-introduction of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby).
Not only has Cameron begun tormenting Sharon, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been the one that came to her rescue and has been doing everything he can to try to make her feel safe.
Meanwhile, Chance seems to be the worst detective in the world and hasn’t really been doing anything to help their situation. Instead, Nick seems to be taking things into his own hands.

This has also lead many viewers to believe that Sharon and Nick will be getting back together and that whatever was going on between Sharon and Chance is over.
Was there ever going to be something happening between the two or them anyway and could Chance still be Sharon’s hero?
I don’t think so. I think the viewers would rather see Nick and Sharon back together and that Chance might be a bit too young for her anyway.
I’ve been hearing things like Chance and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) though, and with her marriage in shambles already, this could be a likely landing spot. Summer could talk to him about her mother and once this storyline is over, she could find solace in his arms.
Meanwhile, Sharon and Nick will be dealing with Cameron, and there could be a little situation between Chance and Nick in the meantime.
Chance could get angry about Nick taking matters into his own hands and even arrest him for doing so! This would add more drama between Chance and Sharon and further show that things may not be progressing down that road.
