‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies for Friday, December 22.

This is the last episode before Christmas, so everyone in Genoa City is celebrating Christmas Eve as they exchange presents and prepare for family get togethers.

Of course, there has to be some drama mixed in, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in for the games.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Giving an inch

In a good show of character, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will concede and let Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) see Dominic, but first he’ll want to know a few things.

First off, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he’ll have questions about the new article that he covered up the allegations, and he’ll explain how it happened before he owned the company and he fired everyone involved.

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will point out he should’ve held a press conference to condemn the actions, and Tucker will admit he should’ve handled it differently.

Somewhat satisfied, Devon will give in but make sure Tucker knows not to read anything into his decision and it’s not an invite to renew their bond.

Tucker will accept it and be grateful for the chance, but it’s going to continue to put Devon in a difficult spot going forward.'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) And Devon Hamilton's (Bryton James) Relationship On The Rocks?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – For the brass ring

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will do her best to win over Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) at the family presents exchange, and she’ll get a few looks from Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for her attempts.

Of course, the real fun will begin when Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) arrives and Phyllis answers the door.

After trading a few barbs, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will usher her mom out for their dinner with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

This will signal the end of the party, and while everyone leaves, Phyllis won’t be too happy that Cricket is staying.

Despite her best efforts, it looks like Phyllis will once again come in second place, and this could prove entertaining in the coming days as their feud continues to play out.

So far Phyllis has been playing nice as she’s allegedly trying to change, but if anything can bring her old self out of semi retirement to stir up some fun trouble and chaos as only she can.

How long until Phyllis breaks and goes back to her old ways? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
