‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that fans are already exhausted of one particular storyline that is happening and have simply decided to fast-forward through it.
The relationship between Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is simply too boring and lacks any real excitement.
The pair have been feeling the love again and while they are legacy characters that have been on the series for decades, there doesn’t seem to be enough to keep viewers interested.
Of course, it’s not the most exciting thing to happen to the show, and while it is interesting to bring up a relationship from the 1980s, we’re not sure it’s the best thing for today.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Fans Are Fast-Forwarding Through THIS Storyline: “Most Boring Couple!”
‘The Young and the Restless’ official Instagram page shared a photo of the two lovers together and fans didn’t hesitate to comment about their lack of interest.
Fans wrote, “Most boring couple! I fast forward their scenes…ugh already”, “Why are we revisiting this again? This storyline is a remnant of the 80s”, “Nope over it! There are no sparks/chemistry with Christine and Danny… Can we come up with something new and obviously something to keep Phyllis busy, happy or something instead of acting like a 14 yr old jealous teenager… gees.. all 3 of these actors are better than this..” and “The only thing I’m feeling is nauseous. 🤢 Ugh.”
It is clear that viewers are no enjoying this, but the real question is, will the writers even listen? Surely with this much discourse around the storyline, it’s made its way back to the writing room and found a way into their ears.
So, will they change course and focus on another storyline, or even possibly bring Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) back to spice things up?
Unfortunately, it’s almost positive that they will continue on with the same, dull storyline and we’ll just have to sit here and suffer.
