‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) has gone missing. This is really bad news for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who needs his testimony to possibly beat the charges being brought against her. What is her next step going to be?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: No Witnesses
Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) hired Carson to get an unidentified body at the morgue which could pass as Phyllis. When the ambulance had an accident and then caught on fire, everyone assumed that Phyllis died in the terrible accident.
But, after Phyllis kills Stark in self-defense, she needs someone who is willing to come forward and say what a despicable man Stark was. Her defense has been that Stark forced her into faking her death and framing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She doesn’t have anyone to substantiate this claim though.
She also was alone when she was attacked by Stark. He knew she was going to go to the authorities and pin it all on him. He thought killing her would be fine because she was already “dead”. Phyllis has no witness to substantiate the claim of self-defense either.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Search for Carson
Phyllis hoped that her lawyer, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), would find Carson. The problem is that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) found Carson first. He decided to blackmail Phyllis.
Tucker and his girlfriend, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), want Phyllis to help them. They want to get rid of Diane. Tucker and Ashley want her out of Jabot and out of the Abbott Mansion. They want Diane out of their lives for good. They believe Phyllis is just the person to make Diane go nuts.
Tucker has told Phyllis that she has to do this, and do it right away, or Carson will just disappear. If she does what she is supposed to, then Carson will testify he saw her fight off Stark in self-defense.
Phyllis is struggling, not wanting to be under McCall’s thumb in this way. She doesn’t want to fight Diane anymore, but she does want her freedom. Now Carson is missing again, which means Tucker is not playing.
He demands results. How can Phyllis get out from under McCall’s control? Or is it impossible? Share your thoughts below.
