CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers expected some interesting things to happen, and it looks like this episode isn’t going to disappoint.
There’s always on thing or another going on in Genoa City, and it makes things exciting for us, but drives the poor characters crazy.
Not that a character going crazy is a bad thing, it’s just sometimes they take us along for the ride and that may not be so much fun.
One of these rides involves the often overused (yeah, we said it) trope of one member of a relationship having insecurity problems.
It’s natural, but when it’s every other storyline, it does get a little old. On the plus side, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has done and excellent job that it’s helped us hold our tongues.
Her insecurities and fear will get the better of her and she’ll confess her fear and thoughts to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
While Elena’s dealing with her problems, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be doing her best to keep Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) from coming to blows.
Family life is fun, ain’t it?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 24: Unloading
Elena’s been unloading more and more of her emotional distress and fears onto Nate, and he’s happily accepted the role of her rock and support system.
He’s done more than his part in talking her off ledge after ledge, and it looks like he’ll have his work cut out for him on this one.
While she knows that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) loves her, she simply cannot get over the fear that he’s going to leave her for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to be closer to Hilary Curtis.
There’s always the possibility of a relationship forming here and forcing Amanda and Devon together, but ‘Young and the Restless’ hope not. Let them each be happy for a change.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 24: In this corner…
Phyllis had thought it wise not to tell Nick about their daughter’s engagement, at least, until she figured out a way to do so that wouldn’t get Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) killed.
But Summer’s temper got the better of her and she blurted it out in front of dad, and now Phyllis will be playing referee, er, peacekeeper between the two of them.
‘Young and the Restless’ don’t envy Phyllis in this task, though we’re sure it’s going to be a fun set of scenes.
