DNA test results will appear to reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is Eve Nicole Howard. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) realize the impossible, never having lost their daughter.
Most importantly, willing audience members must accept the implausibility of Jordan’s actions. Suspending disbelief allows fans of the genre to enjoy the tales they are told. But those who are clear-eyed know this story is a significant stretch but are ready to embrace it if the payoff continues to be entertaining.

No one knew about Eve’s existence since she supposedly died. That was true because the two people who were involved withheld this life-altering reveal until this fall.
However, Jordan and Claire could have followed through with their plan to kill the Newman family and Cole without divulging the truth. But as is often the case in a film noirish plot, the villain’s arrogance filled in the gaps.
As Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) confirmed, Jordan was a registered nurse. Cole recalled his mother talking about his aunt being a traveling nurse, a new phenomenon in the late ’90s. So, she began working at Genoa City Memorial Hospital prior to Victoria giving birth and swapped Eve with a baby who died.

Victoria said that everything would change if Claire proved to be her assumed dead daughter. Well, it happened.
Claire has Newman blood unless Jordan or someone else tampered with the results. However, Victor wants her locked up, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) continues to reel from being drugged and forced to drink vodka.
Bonding with Claire will include the recognition that she has to overcome years of psychological torture. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) attitude may pale, to a certain degree, in comparison to Claire’s participation in a multi-person poison attempt.

One advantage that the Newmans, Cole, Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), and the authorities have is Claire. She knows how her aunt’s mind works.
