‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that there is bound to be a huge shock at the 50th anniversary Gala and it looks like it will be Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faking her own death!
Who would have guessed? According to some spoilers, it sounds like Jeremy Stark (Jeremy Hyde) will give Phyllis something to make it appear as thought she was poisoned.
But, where oh where could this poison have come from? Oh, only Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) of course! The awkward part will be with Phyllis isn’t dead and has to find a way to continue faking it. How is she going to return to her family and life after this?

There’s no way that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) or anyone else would be able to forgive Phyllis for faking her own death to see Diane locked up, so that leaves only one choice… Phyllis will run away with Jeremy leaving Genoa City and her family behind!
Meanwhile, Summer and everyone will mourn for Phyllis while Diane is sent to prison and rots in a cell while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) disowns her. How long will she be forced to sit behind bars until the truth comes out and will they ever figure out that it was Phyllis and Stark?
There’s bound to be a big surprise coming at the end of this week and it could effectively be the end of Phyllis Summers.
What a crazy way to end an amazing career, but, it’s seemingly the best they could come up with. What’s been your favorite Phyllis moment over the years and do you think she would really sacrifice everything to get back at Diane?
