‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close the week out and share some fun spoilery goodies.
The episode for Friday, August 1 is going to be an interesting character development episode as we dive into some relationships.
Nothing is ever set in stone in soap operas, especially relationships. Such is the case with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) as she struggles to be a single parent.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) may or may not work through things, but until then Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is there as a friend. Maybe more?
After meeting with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will agree to talk to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) about being bought out.
This will urge Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to ask him about his declaration of making a deal with the devil.
Jack will let the question hang in the air, and that’s going to prove interesting down the road.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, August 1: More than friends?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are suckers for new romantic matchups.
After all these years, we’ve seen pretty much every combination of the old guard, and that makes new relationships fun!
The show isn’t good at developing new young characters, choosing to rely on their veterans. So it’s pretty fun so see Daniel and Tessa becoming such good friends.
We don’t see either of them making a move for Tessa to cheat on Mariah, but their time looks almost done.
Mariah’s seen to that, and with adultery and murder hanging over her head, she’s in for a long journey.
So we think Daniel and Tessa will be a slow burn, and unlike the reused couple ideas, this has a fresh feel to it.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, August 1: To make a deal
This has us curious as jack is willing to make a deal with Cane to buy out his investment in Billy.
He doesn’t agree with Billy’s plan and ambition to topple Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but he may still join in.
Diane will ask him about that, and it’s possible he’ll hold onto his investment. If he does, we’re sure it’ll be to Victor’s irritation and that’s worth it to us.
The only issue here would be if Jack expects to have say in what Billy does. It may be best if he does something on his own and let Cane and Billy do the heavy lifting.
After all, it’d be pretty savvy and Victor-esc to let them all wear each other out before moving in for the kill.
Will Jack help take down Victor? Let us know in the comments below.
