‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that Sally Spectra has gotten herself in quite a pickle, but it’s not one that she won’t be able to get herself out of. After all, the Sally that we’ve seen here in Genoa City is not the same Sally that we saw back in Los Angeles when she was on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’. Her portrayer Courtney Hope recently opened up ato Soaps.com about her character’s baby daddy problems and what might happen next. Here’s what you need to know.
Courtney says that her character has definitely changed ever since she first arrived in this fictional town. She told Soaps.com in a new interview, “She’s constantly having to overcome her past and the mistakes she made. It’s easy to move to a new city and make a fresh start, but I don’t think she realized how much her past would be brought up and continue to be a burden in her career and her relationships. She’s had to work to overcome all of that and prove to everyone she’s not the same person anymore.”

And while the old Sally was someone who would have probably lied about her child’s paternity, Courtney maintains that this new version of Sally on ‘Young and the Restless’ wouldn’t do the same. She said, “If this were a few years ago, probably. But now, she’s trying to be as honest as possible with herself and everyone else. Already, everybody sort of assumes she would be deceptive, so it’s almost an act of courage for her not to be.”
Courtney added, “At the same time, however, she’s still got that fight in her. She’s in survival mode, That’s something that’s ingrained in her and she’ll never lose.”
