‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage might not last “forever.” With his comment about destiny, will Kyle definitively end things with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier)? Kyle was astounded by how well Summer and he coordinated their travel plans.
Summer suggests that they turn the final few days of their honeymoon into a fun family beach vacation by having the nanny bring Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) down to Costa Rica. Kyle then claims he was about to make the same suggestion as a result.
The disturbing part, though, comes after that, at least when viewed as a soapy foreshadowing of what’s to come. Kyle discusses all of the splits and reconciliations that got them to this point before saying that once they made it official, they were doomed to remain together forever.

Naturally, fans should be concerned the moment a soap character starts saying things that will last “forever”! Usually, this is a huge sign that major drama is about to unfold. Although Kyle and Summer‘s marriage appears to be stable at the moment, that kind of statement could potentially condemn them to a brief separation or even divorce.
By practically daring the universe to place obstacles in his way and put his relationship with Summer to the test, Kyle is inviting trouble into his life. We have to believe Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will play a part in the impending conflict for Summer and Kyle because the universe is undoubtedly going to deliver. That is particularly true given that Diane is concealing her connection to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), and keeping secrets is a surefire way to end badly.
Harrison, however, maybe the more pertinent problem for Summer and Kyle. This may develop into a conflict over whether Diane still has a place in Harrison’s life.
