‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) could actually have an interesting storyline coming up and that it will finally get her away from the coffeehouse that she seems to be perpetually stuck in!
We have all been looking forward to seeing her in some actual storylines and not pouring coffee, eavesdropping on everyone else.
Sharon will indeed be part of a bigger storyline coming up. An old threat will resurface and drag Sharon into some drama, which could lead to her leaning on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for help.
In a recent interview with The TV Watercooler, Sharon Case mentioned the return of this mysterious character and while she couldn’t say who it was, we do have an idea.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) Return For Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case)?
This would be a great time for Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) to return. Back around 2004, Sharon attacked Kristen with a champagne bottle and believed he was dead.
When he survived and returned, he ‘haunted’ Sharon for what she did. However, Nick was able to intervene and stopped him from. He was arrested for his crimes, but it looks like he could be making a return.
Not only would this give Sharon a storyline and bring a way for Nick to break away from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and back into Sharon’s arms, but with Ashby’s real-life wife having been back on for a while playing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), it makes sense that he would have an “in” to come back on the show and get to play his old character once again.
It’s easy to see all of this coming together and we just hope that the writers have enough sense to making something simple and awesome happen.
I know I would love to see Nick and Sharon back together and it would let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) be with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)! It would be a win/win for everyone!
