Those following this enduring soap opera across the decades recall the sad story of Eve’s demise. Those viewers had their memories refreshed in recent months while newer GC observers learned the tale.
So, it appears that Eve did not die. Instead, a registered nurse, Jordan, used a deceased baby to make Victoria and Cole believe she died.
But Eve did not die shortly after being born. She was told that her parents abandoned her and was brainwashed. However, her recent awakening is changing the dynamic of her life’s arc.

After realizing what Jordan did to her, Victoria, and Cole, Claire’s comments were heartfelt. Heinle and Peck’s characters instantly realized she was in shock, and their parental instincts reemerged.
While Claire was committed to following her aunt’s lead, she is no longer. Killing the Newmans was Jordan’s cause, but that revenge game is over.
Thankfully, Victoria and Cole had an opportunity to speak with Claire on multiple occasions. They hired Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), who enabled her to move to GC. Claire also knows that her parents want to help her heal. On the other hand, Jordan’s promise offers her an empty future on the run from the law.

Victoria has had a hole in her heart that would never be filled. Cole had the same, but, as fans know, he has been off-screen for many years.
Projecting Jordan’s arrest, capture, or demise is easy. Hopefully, she does not escape. But in any event, Zenk’s terrific performance offers projects to end soon.
Claire should survive; if that happens, she and her parents will bond. Peck’s return to the cast could endure based on recent developments. But Heinle’s main character surely will. With that, Victoria will likely guide her daughter in the new year on Y&R when the drama passes.
