‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may have been alone for too long at this point. Every time she appears on screen, it seems like she is pursuing someone, and right now it seems like she might be interested in Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Chelsea has appeared a little strange ever since she attempted to have Adam committed for attempted murder and was instead admitted to a mental hospital. Don’t get me wrong, she seems to get along well with her son (when she sees him), but she just seems to be lonely and longs for a companion.

Although it was really just part of his job to support her, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) ended up becoming very close to her during her mental health issues and seemed to really help her through it and be her rock.
Chelsea, on the other hand, immediately went overboard and began fantasizing and dreaming about the married man. Rey’s mishap ultimately occurred because he was driving her and her son to a hockey game. Obviously, neither of them was at fault for the accident, but if not for her and her misunderstanding of his friendship, he would not have found himself in that predicament.
After that, she begins working with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) on his podcast, and it doesn’t take long for her to start kissing him. Billy has been forced to pause the podcast and reconsider the situation as a result of this. Although the kiss has been avoided, it will undoubtedly come up again soon.
Now, it appears that Chelsea is spending time with Adam once more and, since he and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are not together, Chelsea is raising her hopes that the Spectra family will one day reconcile. Even though I believe Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is aware to avoid Chelsea, it still seems like a very real possibility—especially considering how much the show’s writers despise Adam for some reason. Only time will tell.
