‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers love it when some old fashioned values and/or beliefs come to the fore in these stories as it adds a cool variance on the characters.
Of course, it’s also fun when we get to see some basic emotion from some as well. Adding depth can be fun and we get to reap the benefits.
To start the new week, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will continue making plans for their future.
The fun part is going to be when Chance asks Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for permission to marry Abby. We’re sure he won’t be too nervous, right?
Not everything is going to be pleasant for everyone involved in this episode as Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will ask Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and sparks could fly.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect this to be an interesting moment as there’s always a chance Amanda will still be raw after her breakup with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 16: The big question
So many times we’ve heard that the big question is when one asks another to marry them, but we think that was the easy part for Chance in this case.

His real test of mettle is going to be sitting across from Victor and asking for his permission to marry Abby.
The gesture should please Victor as he’s big on respect and doing the right thing by family and this should win Chance some points for his effort.
But the question is will Victor give his blessing? We think he will as the family needs some good news and Chance is a good guy overall.
But what if he says no? Now that would be an interesting storyline.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For November 16: Amanda asks for an update
Billy and Lily’s flirting has been apparent for awhile now, and just as they’re going to get closer to finally becoming a couple Amanda could mess it up.
Not that she’s trying, as she’s his friend and will want to know how he’s doing with Chance being shot and everything else going on.
While Amanda will be asking as a friend, it may be something that’ll trigger something in Lily.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect Lily to go on a mini tirade about Billy’s latest attempt to exploit Chance being shot and so on.
While it may be small, it could be something that could ruin their budding relationship as Lily may not want to deal with his issues again.
Talk about bad timing.
