‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers find that that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been waiting in the wings for a satisfying story arc for some time. She made a splash by getting married on New Year’s Eve after having her moments with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), but she hasn’t really done much else since then.

We weren’t even really privy to her suffering when her husband passed away. In addition to being killed off-screen, Rey’s death and its aftermath were never depicted, and Sharon has only occasionally been seen outside of a few brief interactions with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Seeing someone go from being the main character to being almost nonexistent feels so strange.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Can We Get More Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) Please?

Although it’s probably too early for Sharon to date, we could definitely see her doing other things. We’re not sure what the writers are waiting for because she still has plenty of stories to tell—she has her coffee shop, her daughters, Nick, and plenty of other things.

Sometimes I don’t even remember she’s in the show until she suddenly appears in the background listening in on someone else’s conversation. Let’s see how she handled her husband’s passing or what she has planned moving forward.

I believe that many viewers believed that Sharon and Nick would finally get back together after Rey Rosales passed away. Even though it might be too soon for that, I believe more scenes between the two would be appreciated. Something that demonstrates how they are reuniting and rediscovering their feelings for one another while also demonstrating that those feelings were always there.

I believe we forgot how dynamic Nick and Sharon were and could be again because we’ve been focusing so much on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) lately. The two have previously been electrifying together and it has always seemed as though they were soul mates.
