‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cait Fairbanks recently dished to Soap Opera Digest about her character, Tessa Porter, and Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Grazadei) growing feelings for her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Tessa Will Kiss Daniel On October 21st
Tomorrow, on the October 21st episode of Y&R, Tessa impulsively kisses Daniel. Apparently, a tipsy Tessa has a vulnerable moment and expresses her gratitude to Daniel for being such a gentleman and for walking her up to her room at the GCAC.
She locks lips with Daniel. We have to wonder how this will move Tessa and Daniel’s relationship forward. After the kiss, Tessa and Daniel have a heart-to-heart. However, first, Tessa needs to sober up.
Their conversation will change the state of their relationship, as it’s obvious that a romance has developed between them.
Fairbanks explained to Soap Opera Digest, “They’ve created such a strong connection to each other. They’ve been supporting each other through some tough things. And I think, no matter what, when you have that kind of connection, you can feel people’s feelings.”
We saw Tessa visit Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) last week, and her visit with her wife didn’t exactly go well. Tessa visited the clinic in Boston to see Mariah and try to save her marriage. Mariah avoided having any meaningful conversation with Tessa.
It breaks Tessa’s heart that her marriage to Mariah is over, but she’s definitely formed a special bond with Daniel and is becoming increasingly attached to him.
It started as Tessa trying to help Daniel cope with the loss of his late wife, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), by teaching him guitar, and it’s become something much more.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sharing A Steamy Kiss With Daniel Could Change Everything
Daniel has also supported Tessa as she’s had to contend with the impending dissolution of her marriage to Mariah. At this point, many viewers want to see Tessa and Daniel’s relationship turn romantic.
Daniel has admitted to both his parents, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), that he has feelings for Tessa.
When Tessa kisses Daniel, we’ll have to see how Daniel responds, but we have a pretty good idea that the smooch will be reciprocated.
Tessa is poised to realize that she also has feelings for Daniel that go beyond friendship. Some fans are clamoring for them to take their relationship to the next level. That said, if they connect romantically, it’s going to cause a lot of soapy drama.
Until Daniel, Mariah was the only person with whom Tessa felt that close. Now, she shares a similar connection with Daniel.
While Tessa is currently married to Mariah, sharing a steamy kiss with Daniel could change everything. It’s going to be interesting to see how the story develops.
Fairbanks told Soap Opera Digest, “I think Tessa wants a connection. She doesn’t want to be alone in this, but she also really cares for Daniel.”
The actress adds, “I think that they are coming together to support each other through two things that are just really hard.”
She adds, “They’re both basically grieving, and grief is really powerful, and it can connect you to people. I think that there’s something there.”
