‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is not going to back down, even after being threatened by Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) in his own office! This came after Ashland sat down the Newman’s and Billy to tell them that he had changed his name and ran off due to abusive parents.

Of course, no one is buying this story except for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Billy is still going to go hard in the paint and even Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) believes there is more. He went to his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) who was surprisingly not very responsive to the idea!

Even Billy has Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) support which was a bit surprising. Does she really think there’s more to discover as well? I do like how Billy explained to Ashland that he wasn’t going to back down. “I know you don’t hear this much…. no.” No, he’s not going to stop investigating. I like it.

I think there’s obviously more to Ashland’s story and as Billy said, he wouldn’t be getting so defensive if he didn’t want his past to remain hidden and unknown. Not even his original name? Could it be linked to a family we already know? I know that would feel like a cop-out but could make things interesting. I’ve seen viewers discuss rumors that he’s an Abbott and he, Jack and Billy are actually brothers which would be a trip.

What do you think? Is Ashland holding back because this story is a lie or do you think he came clean? Let us know in the comments below.
