‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that ever since Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has come back to Genoa City she has been defending her right to be there. To be honest, at first, I was totally against it. Why in the world did she come back? I assumed it was for some of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) money.

However, I was very surprised when I witnessed her rebuilding her relationship with her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and trying to right the wrongs she made all of those years ago. It seems now, she’s even earned the respect of Jack.

What have the fans thought though? With people like Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) going after her, it was hard to justify being on Diane’s side, especially since those three are beloved characters of the show.

They have reinstituted the Salem Witch trials though, and now, it feels like a psychotic hunt after Diane who has done nothing to provoke them. While we all love these characters, they seem way off base on this one and even the most hardcore fans have to be wondering if they’re on the right side.

I have fallen onto the side of Diane, as at least she is accepting her flaws and trying to make past wrongs right. Whereas the trio of divas act like their farts don’t stink and are made of gold. They have done things just as bad, if not worse than Diane, but themselves on a pedestal above her. It’s very strange. I’m pulling for Diane and hope that Jack realizes the persecution going on and decides to help her.

What do you think? Are you on team Diane at this point and have Nikki, Phyllis and Ashley gone too far trying to exact revenge on her? Let us know in the comments below.
