‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is Genoa City’s best bad girl. She’s fiery, passionate, isn’t afraid to fight dirty, and she’s definitely fun to watch.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Audra Is Still Trying To Come Between Kyle And Claire
That said, she’s also as selfish and manipulative as they come. In the August 22nd episode of Y&R, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) gave Audra plenty of chances to come clean about her deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
Viewers know that Victor agreed to fund Vibrante, Audra’s cosmetics company. The catch? She had to seduce Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) away from his granddaughter, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
Kyle caught onto Victor and Audra’s games and exposed not only her deal but also her advances toward him.
Even though Audra has lost her dreams, it still hasn’t stopped her from trying to come between Kyle and Claire.
However, Victor Newman’s granddaughter is no pushover. She decided to give Audra a taste of her own medicine. She dropped a major bombshell on Nate and clued him in on Audra’s back-door deal with Victor.
After Claire told Nate the truth about Victor and Audra, Nate confronted her, and she lied to him. She refused to admit what really happened.
Nate is a kind and patient man, and he was willing to give her a chance if she told him the truth. She started crying and denying everything.
She had an excellent relationship with a good guy who cared deeply for her, and she threw it all away for nothing.
Nate’s instincts about Audra’s betrayal were spot on. He knew she was keeping secrets and that Claire had no reason to lie to him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Should Also Come Clean With Claire
Audra would do anything to get ahead in the corporate world, including making a deal with the devil himself (I.E., Victor Newman).
While many fans are happy to see the character they love to hate finally get her comeuppance, Kyle still has yet to be totally honest with Claire.
Despite his attempts to justify his setting up Audra to “see how far she’d go,” he hasn’t admitted to his girlfriend that he kissed Audra in Nice.
Some would side with Kyle, but he’s also to blame for going too far with Audra. Claire wouldn’t exactly be thrilled to learn that her boyfriend was making out on the bed with Audra in a towel.
We understand he wanted to prove that Audra and Victor were working together to destroy him, but it was still technically a betrayal.
Kyle himself needs to come clean with Claire before she hears it from Audra. It’s going to be a lot more painful for her if he continues to gloss over what really happened between him and Audra in France.
Since this is a soap, Claire is bound to find out. However, she likely won’t hear it from Kyle. We don’t expect him to be as honest as he should be with Claire.
Ultimately, Kyle’s decision to keep this massive secret from Claire is a huge mistake, and we suspect Audra won’t let this go until she breaks up Kyle and Claire for good.
